Flying Circle Debuts New Logo and Website
Boerne, TX, October 28, 2015 – Flying Circle, a key supplier of field, tactical, and travel bags to the U.S. Military, is excited to unveil its new logo and announce the launch of its newly redesigned website.
The new logo and website are the culmination of months of work on Flying Circle’s rebrand. The company’s redesigned logo is a modern take on its previous logo, which represented the owners, Jim and Joy Chittim’s, ranch brand of a circle with a horizontal bar on each side. The bold new logo preserves the heritage of the company while emphasizing strength and adventure.
“Flying Circle has continued to reinvent itself over the years,” said Marketing Director, Adrienne Ehler. “The Chittims were making show coats for livestock animals when they decided to take the leap to manufacturing bags for the military nearly 30 years ago. Over time, we’ve become well-known in the military community for durable bags that help get the job done. As we’ve expanded our product lines into other categories like gun cases, our customer base has grown to include outdoorsmen who appreciate that our gear is strong enough to take on the great outdoors. We needed an updated image to convey the quality and strength our customers value in our products.”
As a result of the broader spectrum of products available, Flying Circle has dropped “Bags” from its name and URL. “We’ve been more than just bags for a while now,” Ehler said. “The new website URL, www.flyingcirclegear.com, better reflects our product assortment.”
The Flying Circle online store offers a variety of military specialty cases, tactical backpacks and pouches, gun cases, travel bags, duffels, “tacticool” business backpacks, Tactical iPad® Covers, hydration systems, toiletry bags, and more.
Customers will find a more user-friendly online shop when they visit the new Flying Circle website. The website has been completely redesigned to conform to any mobile device to make it easier to shop for customers on the go. “Nearly half of our web users are on a mobile device,” Ehler said. “It was time we implement a responsive site to give all visitors a better buying experience, both visually and functionally.” The website also adapts to wide-screen displays.
The contemporary design is engaging with its bright colors, subtle textures, large photos, and easy to access navigation. With just a few clicks under each product category, a customer can browse products to fit their specific needs. Each product page has a wealth of information, including product description, specifications, color availability, monogramming options, and detail photos.
Checkout is secure and easy. Customers have the option to set up an account in just one step to take advantage of faster checkouts. Those who prefer to purchase without an account can do so through Guest Checkout.
