BUFFALO ROLLING DUFFEL
I just received my bag and I noticed quite a few details that I already like. This is not my first duffel bag on wheels and all my previous bags, from different manufacturers, had one major flaw. They didn’t have a telescopic handle and that was the main reason why I kept replacing them. When you have to walk for a while from point A to point B and kick yourself in the legs with the bag is simply not something that will make you happy. For sure. The handle on this bag was the main reason why I bought it. The fact that it also has three feet so it can stay upright is a big plus for me. I also like removable panels for easy storage and I hope they are strong and rigid enough to keep my stuff inside the bag and that they can be moved in and out quite often. Orange high visibility interior is a really nice detail. All in all, first impressions are promising. There are a few things I don’t like so much or they could be improved in order to make that bag ideal, almost perfect. Let’s start from the outside. Clear vinyl window on the lid is the first thing that will be damaged, probably destroyed. We all know how our bags are handled on the airports, buses, etc., piled on top of each other and I find hard to believe the vinyl will survive. I for sure am not going to keep any of my documents in that pouch. Velcro on the lid is a nice detail, but for the reasons I just mentioned, chances that your patch will arrive at destination are probably slim. It would be a nice detail if the bag has a pouch on aside, just for the quick access for some small items (charger, hand sanitizer, water, etc.) so I don’t have to open the main compartment for something I need during transit time. The main zipper should have designated loops on for the padlock. Regarding the interior, two (smaller) clear vinyl pockets should be one big pocket. This is the place where I personally like to keep my documents, or magazines, and that way it enables me quick access. Mesh pocket on one side could be also on the other side as well as on the front side. It helps with organizing small items. All in all, regardless of some details, so far I like my new bag. With the improvements I suggested, it would definitely deserve five stars.
